They say

The brand new NRGy uses a lightweight core which is reinforced with a torsion bridge construction. The ‘Camrock’ rockered shape pulls the traditional contact point back about 25% creating slight tip rocker to aid the camber underfoot.

We say

One of the key differences with this ski compared to the competition is its lightweight, it’s a really noticeable difference to carry and also underfoot. This lack of weight instantly makes it feel easy to adjust and steer. Add that to the pronounced rocker through the shovel and you have a ski which is very easy to use and undemanding at slower speeds, particularly in tricky conditions. The neat trick is when pushing onto higher speeds and bigger edge angles the NRGy has great strength and can hold an edge and feel stable even in very demanding conditions. Overall, this is a superb new ski from Nordica that would be fantastic as a go anywhere ski, both on and off piste.

Light, lovely balance, but strong on the edge - a great ski.
James Allen
Feels more lightweight than some of the other skis on test. Easy to use.
