They say

At 88mm underfoot the Wild Belle is one of the wider skis we tested in this category. It uses a women’s specific core with an early rise tip for easy release and entry on the turn.

We say

On the piste the Wild Belle performs well, it has a pretty stiff flex and this allows it to hold a strong edge through the arc of the turn. Surprisingly for its width it feels more comfortable in short turns, where it has a quick response and has lots of grip for steeper terrain. In long turns the strong construction works well although the dampening could be better, it can feel jittery at high speeds on hard snow. In deeper off piste conditions the wide platform underfoot helps in giving the ski some float, but the stiff flex works against it and makes it feel less playful than others.

Tester Comments

Rowena Phillips
Wider than last year so good in the off piste, but stiffness makes it harder work
Steph Ede
Good value for money, nice on piste for short turns.
