They say

The new Lumen is designed as a playful all mountain ski. It uses a full woodcore and uses a light honeycomb tip to make for easy turn initiation.

We say

The Lumen gives out a smooth ride and loves being ridden on the edge. For medium to large arcs it feels super comfortable and seems to just smooth out any difficult terrain. In powder it has very easy floating characteristics and the lightweight makes it really easy to adjust and change direction while moving through the arc. Whether it’s on the piste or out in the backcountry the Lumen feels like a great ski for easy cruising in big arcs. When moving into a tighter situation like couloirs or in the trees it feels a bit more restricted and is harder work to use in shorter turns.
