They say

Designed to be the most versatile ski in Salomon’s women’s collection, the Quartz uses the new X-Chassis for reinforcement while the all terrain rocker helps for drifting and steering adjustments.

We say

This is a responsive and light ski which makes easy work of short, punchy turns on the piste. In this type of turn shape they feel very reactive, carving a tight arc while being quick on the transition into the new turn. In longer faster turns they grip well and give plenty of response back to the skier, however they do have limits and as you get to proper high speeds the stability starts to fade. In conditions away from the groomers the rocker helps with steering, while the rounded tail makes for a forgiving exit out of the arc, again they can lack stability when pushed onto higher speeds. Overall, a great choice for aspiring all mountain skiers.

Responsive and light, feel great for short turns on the piste
Tessera Swallow
Quite a good on piste ski with plenty of reaction in the turn, harder to trust in fast long turns.
