They say

The Allura is designed as a playful piste carver. It uses a very light wood core with tip rocker for easy steering and agility. The Allura also uses Volkl’s ‘Bio Logic’ technology which uses all the main aspects of the ski and focuses them on supporting women’s morphology.

We say

Like many of the Volkl’s we have skied the Allura gives out a smooth, stable ride and immediately has a feeling of high quality, complex construction. In all turn shapes it feels rock solid with plenty of edge grip and the ability to keep delivering that high level of performance even when pushed hard at higher speeds. The vibration absorption of this ski is superb, it feels silky underfoot and can ride out any hard snow conditions with ease. In some ways that flex can work against it, with some of the testers wanting a bit more snap and life through the turn. However, overall this is an awesome all round piste ski.
