They say

The new Aura is completely redesigned with 100mm underfoot and now sporting a full rocker profile with a flat camber through the middle of the ski. Essentially its using the same design cues as found in the new men’s Mantra.

We say

The Aura elicited quite a mixed reaction from the test team. For a women’s specific ski it feels pretty punchy, it has a relatively stiff flex, which matched up to a powerful construction makes it a ski that requires an assertive, technically strong technique to get the best out of it. In off piste conditions the long shovel floats up while that strong construction give it good edge hold and stability, this is a ski that works very well for blasting around away from the piste. On the groomed runs it got a mixed reaction, with some testers finding the shape unpredictable and harder to ride the edge.

Tester Comments

Lynn Mill
Cool graphics, especially on the base! Float really well in the powder, but lacking in stability on the edge.
Rowena Phillips
Strong, powerful ski that excels in fast off piste skiing.
