They say

All the White Doctors use a classic torsion box, where a light wood core is wrapped in glass fibre. It uses a flat tail to give good grip coming out of the turn. The FT9 is designed for power and control in all mountain conditions.

We say

Like all the White Doctors we tried the FT9 has a real high quality feel to it. The ride is smooth and vibration free and when on the edge it feels truly fantastic for blasting out big fast arcs on the piste. For quick cruising on groomed runs, this would be a great ski, that classy ride makes it feel bombproof when pushing up onto higher speeds. In deeper, powder conditions the width underfoot gives it some manoeuverability, but with a flat tail and no rocker it feels fast, locked down and great for fast skiing, but trickier to manoeuver at slower speeds or when releasing out of the arc.

Smooth strong, beautiful in all turn shapes on the piste.
Chris Taine
The FT9’s performs best when travelling at speed. Superb edge grip and nice contact with the snow.
