They say

The new Navis Birdie has the authenticity of an alpine ski DNA upon which the fame of Black Crows is built. A pure freeride toy which adapts perfectly to crud or powder.

We say

No question, the Birdie is a class act, our test team loved the graphics and the overall look of this ski. It’s definitely suited to fast skiers, with great stability at speed, while the flex and quality construction gives out a silky, confidence inspiring ride. In long turns it has high levels of grip and would work well blasting out big turns in tricky conditions. On the piste it holds up well, it’s only in short turns that it’s harder work, with the Birdie feeling quite slow to move from edge to edge. Overall a great looking ski, that’s perfectly suited to fast skiers.

Tester Comments

Annabel Seel
Can charge feels great making smooth, round, steered turns. Floats up well and held up well in crud. Love the colours
Steph Ede
This is a stiff, strong solid ski both on and off piste. Likes to be skied hard and then you get a lot back
