They say

Standard camber, a fast grip shovel, and an ash/silver fir core combined with a classic Kastle sandwich construction allows this ski to live up to its MX heritage.

We say

Like all of the Kastle’s we tried the MX’s feel like a real high quality item. They are very lightweight and are exceptionally easy to use at lower speeds. Moving at a faster pace and arcing out carved turns it gives a super smooth ride and starts the turn with zero effort. Edge grip is very high for a ski that feels so light underfoot. Although it has that lighter construction it still feels torsionally stiff and manages to give a really strong performance in all turn shapes on the piste.

Tester Comments

Lynn Sharp
These ranked high because they are so easy! Super smooth to ski and will start the turn easily. Despite short lengths they were the best at longs
Annabel Seel
Bouncy and playful. Great for carving and grips well around the turn, but over priced
