They say

After a number of years of outstanding service, the Jam gives way to the Player. At 86mm underfoot the Player is adaptable and a short sidecut allows it to enter the turn with ease.

We say

The Player feels at its best when making big, fast turns in open terrain away from the piste. For these type of turns it feels solid on the edge while the tip sits up well in deeper conditions. On piste it felt less agile with the flex lacking some spark compared to other skis we tried in this group, particularly coming out of the turn where it felt like it needed a bit more kick and power. But, in longer, faster turns it feels strong with good edge hold and stability. Overall, a good ski, which works better in softer conditions.

Tester Comments

James Allen
Feels solid when charging, tip works well in off piste. Feels dead on the piste
Al Morgan
Fine in soft snow, no energy coming out of the turn on piste
