They say

The benchmark in Freeride performance. This year updated with stronger materials in the vertical sidewalls for greater grip, while a more traditional tail gives stronger steering and acceleration coming out of the turn.

We say

The Soul 7 still remains a standout performer as a freeride ski, the radical profile makes it very adjustable in deep snow, with the ability to pivot and steer instantly. This gives it a fantastic ‘get out of jail’ ability when firing into trees and difficult situations. However, ramp up the speed and go for big, fast turns it still feels stable, solid and confidence inspiring, with the new sidewall construction definitely giving it more grip on the edge. Overall, a great ski that works well in all conditions.

Tester Comments

Mike Barker
Stronger edge hold than last year’s model, great for short turns in the off piste
Mark Jones
Very adjustable in the powder, easy to use but rock solid at speed
