They say

New for this winter the Scott Black Majic build on the success from ‘The Ski’ and is destined to tear up the pistes.

We say

The Majic actually does feel quite similar to ‘The Ski’ in that it has great contact with the snow and the skier can really feel what’s going on underfoot, it has great sensitivity. It feels very strong at high speed with good stability and strong edge hold at higher speeds. For these longer arcs it has a smooth ride and feels confidence inspiring. In shorter turns it again had good levels of grip but felt a bit slower from edge to edge. This is definitely a ski that felt at its best in medium to long.

Tester Comments

Derek Chandler
Very accessible for advanced to expert skiers, almost a good all mountain ski, you can really go for it in longs
James Allen
Great charging ski that likes to be pushed, sluggish feel compared to many other skis in this category for shorter arcs
