They say

The TSTw has tip rocker and no tail rocker. This powerful combination leads to the float and initiation of tip rocker and drive and stability of a traditional cambered ski.

We say

The Armada is an agile, quick reacting ski that feels much quicker from edge to edge than a lot of other skis we tested in this group. It’s very easy to pivot both on and off piste, which allows for effortless adjustment and changes of direction, it’s another ski that will work well in the trees or in tight couloirs. Although it’s agile, the TST has enough width and rocker to give easy float in the powder. At higher speeds on harder snow conditions the shovel of the ski can flap, but it still gives good edge hold.

Tester Comments

Rowena Phillips
Very easy to rotate despite the length tested. Tip flapped a bit on long turns on the piste
Amanda Pirie
Great for narrow off piste turns, tree skiing and bumpy terrain
