They say

If you’re looking to explore the entire mountain in search of deeper snow, the Backland is your ideal companion. It delivers awesome flotation and easy handling in soft snow.

We say

Every skier who tested this ski remarked on how easy it was to use. It’s light, effortless to pivot and has great flotation in deep snow, it’s a nimble fun ski in the backcountry and works incredibly well at slower speeds. On harder packed snow and groomed runs it felt less stable and lacks the grip of some of the other skis we tested. The Backland is a ski that feels more at home in deep powder and in off piste terrain.

Superb freeride ski if you’re getting into off piste. So easy and versatile at slow to moderate speeds
Derek Chandler
Really accessible and easy ski. Not so good for piste but perfect for off piste
