They say

The Wayback toes the line with a 96mm waist and a lightweight paulowinia-maple core built for the uphill.

We say

This is another touring ski that has an exceptionally smooth flex. This is really translated through the shovel and helps makes this ski very easy to use when steering through chopped up off piste conditions. It feels light, easy to use and perfectly suited to shorter turns in the backcountry. On hardpack conditions it doesn’t have really high levels of grip, but the smooth flex and well balanced nature allows it to cope. Overall this is a great value ski, that gives a solid all round performance for its price point.
