They say

A piste orientated ski that doesn’t baulk at light off piste runs while delivering a smooth and precise ride.

We say

The Kästle immediately feels like a classic piste ski. It is really quick from edge to edge and is brilliant for short turns. In these type of turns they feel perfectly suited to steering short arcs and feel supremely balanced over the middle of the ski. Certainly with the short length we had on test, it felt more like a slalom ski than an all mountain choice. In long turns it grips really well and has a smooth ride, but the shape of the ski feels more inclined to carve out shorter arcs. In off piste conditions it really struggled in that it didn’t have the float and ease of use of many of the other skis tested in this category.

Tester Comments

Rowena Phillips
Good for old school off piste short turns, but better suited for super shorts on piste
Bella Seel
They look chic, on piste shorts are their forte where they felt happy and racy!
