They say

Alps Track 94 is unique in the free touring sector. It is very powerful and ultra versatile at only 1,120 grams in 177 length.

We say

The Alps Track feels solid in its construction, but still manages to come in at a light weight. In short turns it feels pretty agile and would work well for steeper couloirs, it has a stiff flex for such a light ski and this combination should work well on steeper terrain. That stiff flex often worked against it in other conditions, where the tip could get easily deflected in crud and chop and the ski could feel hard work to get a response out of it. Overall, this is a ski which has some amazing technology and is incredibly light, but the stiff flex might be a bit uncompromising for some skiers.

Tester Comments

Derek Chandler
Good for short turns in nice, soft snow. Struggles to turn or slide smoothly
Al Morgan
Stiff for such a light ski, tip gets easily deflected in chop and crud
