They say

The true multi radius ski for long endurance performance.

We say

The new X-Max has strong edge grip, as soon as it’s tilted over the skis hold and then arc out a tight arc. It’s a ski that always feels full of energy and ready to go - it feels particularly reactive when on the edge. Compared to previous Salomon piste skis, the X-Max has definitely improved on ride quality, giving out a smooth, vibration free flex. The skis we tested were quite grabby from edge to edge, and may have had an issue with tuning, but if well prepared, this ski would work well as an all round performer.

Tester Comments

Al Morgan
Lay them on the edge and they work well. The ski made me nervous, servicing could have been an issue
Mark Jones
Grippy and reactive on the edge, lots of energy, always ready to go
