They say

The Award winning Black Majic is back for a second season, delivering ultimate performance with an elliptic sandwich construction and exceptional torsional stiffness.

We say

Every tester remarked on how smooth this ski rode, it has a lot of the same traits as Scott’s ‘The Ski’ in that it has a sensitive touch with the snow matched up to a silky ride. The narrower waist makes it quicker from edge to edge and gives it much more of a sense of agility than the award winning all mountain ski. That smooth ride is achieved through a softer flex than a lot of the other skis we tested in this category, which gives huge benefits at slower speeds, but makes it feel less secure at a fast pace on hard snow.

Tester Comments

Pete Davison
Smooth and easy through all turn shapes. When pushed hard they feel a little soft
Aaron Tipping
Smooth and stable, skied well in long or short turns
