They say

The ultimate edge laying, corduroy ripping tool whose 89mm waist isn’t afraid to gobble up crud, pow and other variable conditions.

We say

Although it has aggressive graphics and a gladiatorial name, the Invictus is actually an easy ski to use and is one of the most playful freeride skis on this test. The wide forebody of the ski gives it lots of lift in powder, while the light construction makes it easy to make quick steering adjustments. For easy cruising and generally mixing up different turns in all mountain conditions the Invictus works well. At higher speeds and with bigger forces it feels less sure, and definitely has an upper limit. This is a great ski for skiers just getting into all mountain skiing.

Great intermediate ski for someone aspiring to ski more off piste
Nicko Braxton
Skis well if not pushed, more playful than some
