They say

Like all our Redster X range, one of the great things about this ski is the versatility of the sidecut, you can use it to ski short turns, long turns and even take it down the occasional weekend slalom race.

We say

The Redster feels like it has very strong edge hold, with the ability to grip really hard on any snow types. The sidecut feels reactive and is well judged for delivering carved turns in both short and long turns, while medium arcs on a groomed run is its sweet spot. Unfortunately the ski we tested had a tuning problem so it was difficult to judge it’s overall performance in great detail, but we suspect a well tuned pair would easily deliver the expectations of a modern piste performance ski.

Tester Comments

Mark Jones
Strong edge hold in long turns, felt grabby and unstable because of tuning
Pete Davison
Strong in long turns, unpredictable, tuning?
