They say

The My Ranger 89 is an all mountain ski designed for women skiers who want a high performing ski they can take across the whole mountain.

We say

Although this particular Ranger has a relatively narrow 89mm underfoot, it still performs really well in deeper snow. The rockered profile is really efficient in floating up and making the ski easy to ski in variable off piste conditions. For a freeride ski it feels quite stiff and when matched up to this narrow platform it makes for a very lively, fun ski to use on groomed runs, that stiffness gives it plenty of energy when releasing out of the turn. The Ranger also has a smooth flex which gives out a forgiving, predictable ride. This is a ski which has a wide range of abilities and would work well as an all mountain choice.

Tester Comments

Bella Seel
Narrower underfoot for this category but it still performs in the powder. Definitely an expert level ski due to its stiffness
Natasha Edwards
Skis well on the piste, got some good bounce in the powder if you work on it
