They say

The new LX73 is a piste orientated, sidewall ski. It has been designed to combine ease with stability for comfortable skiing. An ideal choice for skiers looking for a light, easy going on slope ski.

We say

On the test team we normally expect a certain reaction to getting on a pair of Kästle’s, they tend to always veer towards the high performance end of the spectrum. The LX’s feel quite different to this, it’s a soft flexing ski that’s also light underfoot, it feels very easy to use. Particularly at low to mid range speeds on the piste it feels light, fun and very agile - it’s a ski that needs minimal effort to use. Edge grip feels strong at these lower speeds, but it will have an upper limit where high pressures will overwhelm the ski.

Tester Comments

Eilidh McCloud
This is a soft, springy, dolphin of a ski that will work really well and playfully in all terrain
Lynn Mill
As a recreational ski this performed nearly as well as some of the expert skis. Very chilled ski that takes minimal effort to have a lot of fun
