They say

Every girls favorite all mountain/powder ski, the Shima returns for more first tracks and last lifts. Camber underfoot and 5 point sidecut for grip whatever the speed or slope.

We say

The Shima felt like it felt at its best in longer turns, it’s got a strong construction which really comes across in its overall performance where it feels solid in longer, faster arcs. Tightening the radius feels a bit more of a struggle, and they often felt catchy underfoot, but we may have had a tuning issue on the test pair we tried. In deep snow it floats pretty well, and the shape and profile look nicely geared up for backcountry use. Overall, a cool looking ski that’s best suited to long turns in all conditions.

Tester Comments

Rowena Phillips
Loves to ski a longer turn, felt quite stiff which made it more of a struggle to tighten up the radius
Tessera Swallow
Floats OK off piste, works well on the piste, but not that responsive in short turns
