They say

With new technology the XDR 80 Ti shines everywhere, with a smooth ride, stability and playfulness that defy what you expect of a lightweight ski.

We say

This is a major new ski for Salomon, and an important new direction for their all mountain range. The XDR initially feels easy to use, with a lightweight construction and wide shovel which makes it reactive, yet effortless to take into the turn. The new shape, and particularly the shovel of the ski feel perfectly matched to its remit of performing well in all conditions. When tilted onto the edge there is immediate feedback and strong edge grip, it works well in all turn shapes. In powder and crud it floats up very easily and is great fun to use, with that shovel really helping to cut through tricky conditions. Great ski!
