They say

New metal laminate and Intelligrid mesh ensure the fastest rebound and chatter control while the 99mm waist validates this ski from hardpack to powder days.

We say

The Invictus immediately feels light and playful, it’s full of energy in mixed terrain and would be awesome for a blast on a 50/50 day where you are constantly switching between different conditions and terrain. On piste it’s surprisingly quick from edge to edge in shorter turns for a ski this fat, while in faster long turns it gave good levels of grip. In powder the width, and playful nature made it great fun, although the shovel didn’t float as well as expected for this type of ski.

Tester Comments

James Allen
Quite nimble and agile on piste, good throw around ski in bumpy/mixed terrain
Al Morgan
More fizzle than big bang, tip surprised as it was broad but just did not pick up as you would expect
