They say

The Elan Insomnia is a quick and forgiving ski great for short and long turns with a large sweet spot that makes skiing easier on groomers all day long.

We say

Having been missing from the ski test for a few years, it was a pleasure to see Elan back in the mix! The Insomnia’s got great reviews from the team and like all the Elan’s we tested had a really strong look and character. The Insomnia is a strong, grippy ski that performs well at speed, it grips really early in the turn and gives out a silky smooth ride while maintaining impressive levels of edge grip. Although they are grippy and responsive, they allow the skier to take charge and feel pretty easy to adjust at anytime through the arc.

Totally obedient and simple ski to use, allowed me to be the boss and felt stable and grippy
Eilidh McLeod
Very easy and pleasant ski, loved how easy it was to start the turn and how it gripped the whole way through the arc
