They say

Built for ripping the groomers with the option of blazing off piste, the medium wide Monster 88 is a versatile all terrain ski with race department speed and agility.

We say

The Head Monster has a really strong character and in some ways reflects its name. This is a ski that feels designed to go fast and power through anything the mountain throws at it. It’s super powerful and feels race like strong when making big, fast turns on the hardpack, in big arcs it really excels and is a ski that’s hard to beat for this type of skiing. In off piste conditions it still feels really direct and works at its best when ramped up to higher speeds. Strong, powerful skiers will love this ski! All of this powerful construction does have its downsides in that the Monster can feel heavy and more intimidating for less confident skiers.

Tester Comments

Pete Davison
Solid and stable underfoot with good edge grip at speed, feels heavy underfoot, more of a piste bias than off.
Al Morgan
Like a fat piste ski, strong and powerful. High grip levels very stable on piste at speed.
