They say

The featherweight all mountain Total Joy is a hardpack and powder shredder for confident women who rip.

We say

The Total Joy has a really distinct character due its strong shape. Through the tip it has a really wide contact point which bites into the surface instantly the edges are tilted over. Once into the turn it gives out strong grip, particularly through the start of the turn. The other added benefit of the wide forebody of the ski is that it gives out easy, instant float in softer conditions. Coming out of the turn feels different in that the tail can wash out if pushed too hard, but overall it’s good fun and works well in all conditions. This is a good all mountain ski that feels quite different to a lot of the other skis in this group.

Tester Comments

Lynn Mill
The tip of this ski is its best feature, wide to create sidecut shape that bites the surface on piste and provides float off piste. A bit scary and insecure at high speeds.
Bella Seel
A little heavy, but still a nice ski. Smooth on piste in both long and short turns
