They say

This is a versatile ski with a double rocker built to perform on powder and provide excellent performance all over the mountain.

We say

This was another all mountain ski that was exceptionally easy to use. It has a soft shovel that takes the shocks out of riding chopped up conditions while also being really effective in leading the ski into the turn. This makes the Icon always feel like it is eager to move into the new turn. That soft flexing shovel also really helps in deeper conditions where there is instant floatation and the ability to be playful and fun away from the piste. On harder conditions on the piste it still performs well and feels really comfortable when blasting out big arcs, although that shovel does make shorter turns feel a bit more cumbersome.

Tester Comments

Mark Jones
Easy to use, soft shovel makes turn initiation easy in deeper snow. Really holds well in long carved turns on the piste.
Nicko Braxton
Nice float with the wide tip for off piste conditions. Good ski for cracking through variable conditions.
