They say

The Sentra S5 is for confident female skiers who desire supreme carving performance but can also handle a variety of snow conditions with ease.

We say

This is another women’s specific ski, which really surprised us with the power from its performance. The Sentra is a very solid, strong stable ski, which works very well at high speeds. Once you are on the edge they grip and fire you through the turn with a huge dose of acceleration. The level of performance feels more like a race GS ski than a recreational carving ski, it just powers up every time it’s put on its edge. This is quite clearly a pretty intense ski to ride and would suits skiers who have really effective technique and want to push hard on the piste, more entry level skiers will find them a bit trickier to use at slower speeds.

Tester Comments

Natasha Edwards
Great for an aggressive skier that likes fast, powerful turns. Really strong at speed, almost like a GS ski
Rowena Phillips
Very solid strong ski at higher speeds, once you’re on the edges they grip and send you round the arc like a machete through schnitzel!
