They say

Ski different terrain throughout the day. The progressive rockered tip and C/FX dampening help XDR 80Ti shine everywhere, with a smooth ride, stability and playfulness that defy what you expect of light skis.

We say

The XDR has a really well judged sidecut which manages to be very reactive and give loads back to the skier without being overly nervous. It smoothly carves into the new arc and gives a nice helping hand of acceleration as it comes out of the turn. That great shape and smooth flex make it a ski that feels really effective at steering all types of turn shapes and is generally just great fun for fast skiing on the piste. In more backcountry conditions it’s surprisingly capable with the relatively narrow width underfoot holding up well due to the rockered wide tip taking charge, however for deep pow, most skiers will want something wider.

Tester Comments

Mark Jones
Really smooth edge to edge. Well judged sidecut that works well in all turn.
Pete Davison
A great ski for someone who mainly wants to rip around the piste pop off to the side. Great piste performance and floats well in the crud
