They say

Best of the mid-fat touring skis, the Camox Freebird has an updated core and a shortened ABS. It’s livelier than its predecessor, and has more grip

We say

The soft, smooth flex pattern gives the Camox a very smooth ride and allows it to deal with all conditions with ease. That flex is matched up to a well judged shape that makes the ski very easy to use and effortless to move into the start of the turn. The soft, rockered tip leads you into the turn, and then allows you to drift and smear through the arc with ease. On harder snow it can offer up good levels of grip, but that softer flex works against it and it will break away at some point. This is another ski that would be brilliant for deeper conditions

Dougie Mill
Soft tip floats through powder easily. Smooth flex and soft tip make then very forgiving in firm, crusty snow
