They say

A strong, powerful ski with rebound and the best weight/performance ratio in the touring segment

We say

The Elan is an interesting combination of a superlight, rockered tip matched up to a stronger tail. The front of the ski feels perfectly suited to cruisy off piste skiing where it floats up with ease and that lightweight makes it effortless to initiate the turn. As it moves through the arc the tail starts to take charge and gives this ski a surprising amount of grip and acceleration as you come out of the turn. That strong tail also helps the ski hold on in harder snow conditions, although it works at its best in the hands of an accurate, agile skier that can work the ski effectively from one turn to the next
