They say

The new Mantra 102 with tip and tail rocker is a true power freerider. The Titanal frame combined with carbon tips not only provides stability and dampening effects but also great liveliness

We say

The Mantra is a strong, powerful ski. It has really strong torsional stiffness, which makes them super strong on the edge and the ability to deliver an amazing level of high performance. In long, fast turns these skis feel rock solid, with the ability to take on lots of pace and big edge angles. In chopped up conditions and big open spaces the Mantra is a beast, that will give any fast, confident skier a lot of fun. The downside of this performance is that it does feel quite locked down and harder to adjust in shorter turns and at slower speeds

Tester Comments

Peter Davison
Good torsional stiffness, which makes them very strong in long turns, but a handful to kill off speed and in short turns
Dougie Mill
Suited for strong, fast skiers, the common skier might struggle with ease
