Kitzbuhel Rep Report

Our Day

A glorious sunny day dawned with a hint of sadness for this rep, as its my last ski day both in Kitzbuhel, and for the ski season. Today we headed up the Hahnenkamm and skied down to Walde, up to ski red 19 down to Ehrenbachhohe. We made our way towards Pengelstein and skied to the bottom station on blue 30 and 31. The snow was good despite the warming temperatures. A coffee stop and further loops around reds and blues made for some very enjoyable skiing. We had an early and, due to the glorious weather, an extended lunch stop at Hutte Usterweis (highly recommended). Skiing back towards Hahnenkamm and an early finish, it was a relaxed but very enjoyable last day in resort.

Weather

Sunshine with some high cloud developing in the later morning. Temperatures high – up to 9 degrees mid mountain at 11.am. At 3 pm in the town it was 17 degrees. However the snow is still enjoyable and forecast is for lower temperatures over the weekend.

Had a very good meeting with the Kitzbuhel Tourist team. Nicoletta is very friendly and talked enthusiastically about Kitzbuhel and the Ski Club.
