Snow overview for Italy

21 February 2020

Beautiful sunny skies were once again the order of the day for the Italian Alps on Friday, leading to great overhead conditions for those out enjoying the slopes at half term.

The best conditions can be found in the Aosta Valley, which has picked up the most snow so far this season. Great skiing can be found at the likes of Pila and Courmayeur, but if you’re looking to escape the crowds then Gressoney and Alagna are very good options.

More snow is needed in the Dolomites, but here there’s still good piste skiing to be found. After a sunny and mild weekend, there’s the chance for colder weather and snowfall from the middle of next week onwards.
