I am running a Freshtracks holiday at Sils Maria (St Moritz) in January for the fourth time. Sils Maria is a lovely village and an inexpensive way to ski one of the most famous resorts in the world. St Moritz is full of high-altitude cruising reds and never seems to be crowded. Afterwards, I am returning as resort rep in Obergurgl, which is a super high-altitude resort, so I am delighted to be going back for this season. There is also an opportunity to ski Soelden with its wonderful glacier. I still live between the French vineyards near Bergerac and Eastbourne in UK, and I am currently researching a part-time PhD at Kings College London on the First World War.
