Henry John

Like so many of you I first came to skiing on a family holiday – in this case when I was 12 to Morzine, France at Easter. The thrill of skiing, the joy of being in the mountains and the seemingly endless milkshakes had me hooked from the start. Since then, my skiing has grown considerably, and the sport has been an excuse for me to travel all over the world – from the Pacific Coast of Canada in the West to Japan in the East, via all corners of the Alps, Rockies, Scotland, and the Caucuses along the way. In this time I’ve trained as a ski instructor in Canada and worked in a ski shop whilst at university, all to stay around skiing as much as I can.

The Ski Club entered my life six years ago when I began working at HQ. Over this time, I have spoken to countless Members helping them with insurance and membership, choosing the right pair of skis, writing pieces for the magazine, and now qualified as a Rep. Your boundless love of skiing has kept me hooked, and now I can’t wait to get out there and share a ski with you all.

Look out for my blue jacket (not that one!) at a meeting point near you this season!
