I was pining for a place l'd never been to before, one that probably wasn't even real. But I was convinced I'd know it when I saw it. In German, this is called fernweh - a "longing for faraway places." In my case it's the mountains, they have a way of calling to me—I'm pretty sure they're my happy place (though my wife might say I'm a bit obsessed G). My love for the mountains inspired me to teach snowboarding at my local dry slope, it's amazing to see others fall in love with the sport, just as I did. When I'm not on a board, you'll find me swapping it out for skis or diving headfirst into anything that gets me closer to the mountains. Can't wait to meet everyone and share some fun on the hill!
