Lucky to have learned to ski on a dry slope behind my local ski shop in Berkshire at the age of seven, my first family ski trip to La Thuile in Italy quickly sealed the deal. Mountains have been calling ever since.

Having trained professionally on skis and snowboard during a full season in Quebec in ’97, qualification as a Ski Club Rep followed in 2025. Early-morning groomers, a bit of adventure, following the sun around the mountain, and knowing where to find a good coffee or refuelling stop are all part of the fun

Away from the piste, a sociable après, a good pow-wow, and the chance to swap a story or two are always welcome.
