Joining an airline in my early twenties opened up a whole new world to me - literally! As well as travelling to exciting destinations, many new opportunities presented themselves. I learnt to ski in Alaska on a stopover enroute to Japan. I thought I was just going to sightsee, skiing colleagues had other ideas and before I knew it I was kitted out, pushed onto a chairlift and told to just get on with it! Since those early days I have been lucky enough to ski on average 4 weeks a year and continually work on my technique especially when skiing in Verbier at the beginning and end of most seasons.
