Steve Clothier

My passion for skiing all started when I was twelve years old on a two week school trip to Davos back in the 70’s - on mini-skis. Being caught in a small avalanche did nothing to deter me and I went on to race in the Royal Navy ski team and take my instructor’s ticket. I met my wife on the slopes of Wengen, but had no idea at that time that I would end up with Swiss nationality, an avid off and on piste skier with over 250 weeks under my many pairs of skis for over five decades, now based in Zürich. Skiing and snowboarding both on- and off-piste has kept me in top condition both physically and spiritually to this day.
