Nestled down near the Slovakian border, Zakopane offers something different for your skiing holiday
There is small ski areas littered around the town, enabling you to explore a different once each day, or with a pair of touring skis and a guide, the variety expands even further. The biggest pod of slopes is at Kasprowy Wierch, accessed by two cable cars and home to 15km of varied slopes. Away from the slopes, the town is a pretty place to walk around and explore, with spectacular scenery as a backdrop. There’s also numerous cross country routes, great winter walking and snowshoe trails and snowmobiling tours on offer.
