This Peak Experience trip includes a single room in a superb 4* hotel and six days skiing the mountain with your ski group and Ski Club Rep. Ski all day and relax in luxury in the evenings, what could be better?
ON SNOW EXPERIENCE
During this trip, you’ll spend six days skiing with other Ski Club members of a similar ski profile. This trip is aimed at Intermediate (Red), Advanced Intermediate (Silver) and Advanced (Purple) on piste skiers, but if you are unsure of your ski level, please see our Ski Profile Page. At the end of the week, you’ll receive an updated grading from your Ski Club Rep.
The luxurious 4* Edelweiss and Gurgl is the original village hotel that overlooks the main square on one side and the slopes on the other. The village was built around the hotel and the small 18th century church beside it, so the location is about as central as it gets. You will be catered for on a half board basis.
This holiday is on a single occupancy basis. You will therefore be placed in a room on your own for the duration of the trip. If you would prefer to share a room with someone you know, then please contact the Freshtracks office and we will make the relevant arrangements.
This holiday includes both your flights and transfer. Your Ski Club Rep will coordinate the coach transfer from Innsbruck Airport, so please look out for them in the main arrivals hall, they’ll be wearing their blue Ski Club jacket. Transfers to and from resort will take approximately an hour and a half.
If these arrangements are not convenient, you can organise your own travel and may be eligible to receive a nominal discount from the holiday cost. Furthermore, if you can find alternative flights that coincide with our flight times, then you can meet the group at the airport and take our transfers to resort. Please do not book any alternative flights or travel until your holiday has been confirmed to run. Please contact the Freshtracks office on 020 8410 2022 in order to discuss this further.
With high, snow sure slopes above and a traditional, chalet-style village below, the resort of Obergurgl has the perfect balance. A far cry from busier resorts shouting for your attention, Obergurgl has a laid-back culture and family feel, with many hotels and restaurants being locally run. The après scene caters perfectly to the visitors with local cafes and chalets offering cosy teatime spreads. For more information on Obergurgl, please visit our Obergurgl Resort Guide.
If you require ski hire, we recommend the Scheiber Sport. This is located within the basement of the hotel. Ski Club members can get a discount at this Ski set shop when pre-booking online through the Ski Club website.
