Our Day

Glorious powder on Parsenn today, as the last of the storm passed through but the sting in the tail were the challenging challenging banks of fog which lingered throughout the day. Winter is back and the 40 cm or so that has fallen in the past 48 hours has transformed the landscape and the skiing conditions. The group split into two briefly after lunch, with the majority taking on Ski route 2 and 8 off Gipfel and the others Black 2 down the front. Whilst Black 2 delivered soft fun bumps on a steep slope, the winner for Run of the Day definitely goes to the ski route, if nothing else but for the exhilaration on the faces of the group at the bottom.
