Montagne Verte is a non-profit association working towards a low-carbon future for the Haut Chablais region. They undertake ambitious projects, lobby governing bodies, and support local stakeholders to drastically reduce carbon emissions and prepare for a changing future.

The focus is concentrated in the areas of Morzine, Avoriaz, and Les Gets, and the main actions are around:

Mobility: encouraging and facilitating train travel to the area, and bike travel within it;

Circular economy: keeping clothing and outdoor kit in use, and working on better solutions for waste, especially food waste;

Education: helping our community be informed and have the tools to take community action.
