The largest ski area in central Italy and one of the biggest in the whole of Italy.

The ski area has something to offer all levels of skier/boarder but the resort is particularly good for beginners and intermediates. Beginners have access to plenty of beginner’s slopes and 45kms of greens and blues in total. Intermediates have the pick of the mountain. Those intermediates who want to challenge themselves should take the Pizzalto lift up the mountain to access some difficult reds. Advanced skiers have over 20kms of black runs to tackle. There hardest challenges are some tough runs down to Pizzalto.

There are a few reasonably sized hotels in Roccaraso and some apartments. Visitors will have to catch a bus to reach the slopes. Naples airport is a one-and-a-half-hour drive away from the resort.
