Henry’s Avalanche Talk (HAT) provides training and essential information for skiers who want to go off piste, but are held back by fear of the unknown. HAT is known for helping ordinary skiers have an extraordinary experience off-piste. We aim to leave people feeling liberated and unleashed.

Henry’s Avalanche Talk was founded by Henry Schniewind. HAT has been around for 25 years and grown into a team of off-piste professionals. We have given talks and courses to tens of thousands of people, presented at international snow science conferences and published many papers and articles, often in the British press.

SkyAlps is an Italian airline with its headquarters and hub at Bolzano Airport that offers direct flights between London and the Dolomites, taking passengers to the extraordinary World Heritage Site in just about two hours. Since 16 January 2023, SkyAlps has been taking off with its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and is officially Italy’s 5th airline.

Founded in 2021, SkyAlps now connects over 20 European cities with direct flights. The entire fleet consists of DASH-8 Q-400 aircraft – turboprop-powered machines for short and medium-haul flights with a maximum capacity of 76 seats. With 2.3 litres per passenger per 100 kilometres flown, the DASH-8 Q-400 saves up to 50 per cent in emissions compared to other regional jets and generates less noise during take-off and landing.
