Established in 1976, Lockwoods is a family run specialist ski and outdoor store.

Originally a caravan and camping shop, we now concentrate solely on clothing and equipment for ski, walking, climbing, backpacking and trekking, with the fitting of ski boots and walking boots being our specialty. Despite our online presence, we are very much a real ‘bricks and mortar’ store, who strive to provide outstanding face-to-face customer service.

We are widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading ski boot fitting specialists, and regularly draw customers from all over the country who seek superbly comfortable, high quality boots for both on and off-piste use. Our walking boot department is also nationally recognised, and very used to helping customers who struggle to find comfortable footwear, or simply don’t want to skimp on an item of kit which is vital to their safety, comfort and enjoyment of the outdoors.
